Infrared heat is completely safe. In fact it’s so safe, it’s even used in hospitals to keep new born babies warm. Infra red rays are part of nature. The human body naturally gives off and receives infrared rays.

How often should I use the sauna?
An infrared sauna can be used safely up to twice a day. Its important not to use it immediately following exercise or if experiencing dizziness or dehydration.
How long should I use it for?
Time spent in the infra red sauna should be built up gradually, to allow for the body to become accustomed to it and avoid any potential negative side effects. No more than 20 minutes at a time for the first 2 weeks, which can be increased by an additional 10 minutes after every couple of weeks, up to a maximum of 1 hour.
